this album is d'n'b for me. beats are dry and direct - though not industrialish harsh or completely fractured in chaotic cut/paste patterns - just in the right measure to be audience-friendly, but still subculture music. synths are decent and atmospherical, and the female vocals that some of the tracks have keep me listen. in this genre, they usually make me run.
maybe this is pop music, and i know, d'n'b had its time, but this one is a great summer afternoon pearl.
